Top 10 WordPress Plugins That Make Your Blog Badass

What is the best wordpress plugin? If you are new to the idea of blogging, a wordpress plugin is simply a plugin that you can put on your blog. There are all kinds of add-ons at your disposal. But only a handful of wordpress plugins are really HELPFUL in converting more readers into buyers, email subscriptions, or loyal readers.

So what are they?

Let’s get into the nitty-gritty, as they say … Now these aren’t just silly things that will slow down your blog. These are actually the n things. 1 that can increase traffic to your blog and make your blog 200-500% better than where you currently are if you are flying solo without any.

Time to dive in!

Top 10 WordPress Plugins

1. Share on Facebook

This was the original Facebook share button. Many blogs have gone with this blog in favor of the “Like” button on the blog. I say BOTH are important. Here’s why the old Facebook share button is on our little list of the best plugins.

It allows social proof to look much faster and show up more dramatically. As we know, readers are more attracted if they see that many people are sharing an article or content. So by having that at the top, it allows us to show the number of times we have been shared on Facebook. Also, the “Like” plugin ruins much of your blog’s main space. This is why I include it at the bottom of my blog instead of at the top.

The FB share button is still very effective and highly recommended!

2. Tweet

This plugin is almost exactly the same as sharing on Facebook. The only obvious difference is that it is for Twitter, not Facebook! I’m not a HUGE Twitter fan like any of you who follow me already know. I rarely use it, although I should, but many of our readers use Twitter and love it. So let them spread the love in their 140 character diaries.

3. Facebook Like Button

I love the Like button, I include it at the end of every blog post. The good thing is, it will tell everyone who liked it, and sometimes it will be someone the reader is friends with or respects if it is heavy on your niche. Which makes them respect you and your content even more, and makes it more likely that they will share your stuff with the world.

4. Commentluv

Let’s be honest. Most of the people who read a blog, especially in the money-making niches and network marketing niches, also have something they want to sell. To reward these people for commenting on our blogs, we became a “Dofollow” blog and allowed their latest blog post to appear on our own blog. This allows them to advertise their content a little better when they comment to enrich ours.

I love commentluv, because it generates a good backlink, which for SEO fans is incredible.

In fact, I have people hiring and outsourcing people to come and comment on this blog. I have no idea how many, but I’m sure the fact that I have commentluv is a big reason. (Aside from my AMAZING content!)

5. All-in-one SEO package

Even though it constantly wants to update itself, which is semi-annoying, this is an awesome plugin for SEO junkies and any real-time blogger. Because it allows you to put all the SEO information you need in one go. Put it on and go.

This is a must if you want to be successful with SEO on a blog as far as I’m concerned, and really easy to use.

6. Google analyzer

This plugin is a behind-the-scenes deal, but basically with this tool you can quickly update the traffic coming to your blog. What’s even better is going to the back office they have and you can see exactly where everyone is coming from. Either predominantly from Facebook or search engines. Of course, the biggest traffic source you want is called “Direct”.

Which means that people actually just go on the internet and type their blog in the address bar. Because those are the people who are loyal fans and like what you have to say.

Other useful information is things like understanding bounce rates and the most frequented pages on your blog. Don’t get lost in the numbers, but understand what they are saying about your blog so you can tweak and optimize everything.

7. Google XML Site Maps

It is also a powerful SEO plugin. This automatically creates a sitemap on your blog that helps with SEO. Basically the sitemap organizes everything in a neater way and makes the spiders and Google gods go through your content and index it faster and better. (Which means higher rankings in search engines)

8. WP Ezinearticles

I really like this, I have no idea how useful it REALLY is, but I think it’s worth having it on your blog, even if you’re not a big fan of article marketers. Basically what you do is create a little box in the “Add New Post” section of WordPress. When you’ve finished writing your post, you can click the “submit” button and it will automatically submit your blog post to Ezinearticles as a submitted article, all within a few seconds.

Save a lot of trouble if you like to submit items like me.

9. ThatMLMBeat Beat It Button

I’ve just started using this myself, it’s a tweetmeme-like plugin only instead of Twitter sharing your content on ThatMLMBeat. A community of websites focused on blogging specifically in the multi-level marketing / network marketing and internet marketing niches. Every time someone clicks on it, your post will appear at the top and front page of your community.

Which is pretty impressive targeted traffic for most of us in this niche! You need a ThatMLMBeat account, but it’s free unless you want the premium. I highly recommend it.

10. SSG Google WordPress audio player

I LOVE this thing. This is one of my favorite wordpress plugins, if not THE BEST wordpress plugin on this list in my opinion.

You see, I hate making videos but I love making audios. (You know, you have that silky hot Alaskan voice, haha) and doing interviews. In fact, I have a small library of interviews with many six-figure income winners in our profession that I have been waiting to put out and never had a chance to do so until I found my hosting solution. Look, I was playing with Amazons3 and all this other nonsense that I couldn’t understand, until my friend Brandon Connell told me about this plugin.

You host all of your audio on your blog for free and will also embed a real audio player within your blog post rather than your reader having to open a new window for your audio (free). Super useful.

Tips on the best WordPress plugins …

Please don’t look at this as a definitive list. I love blogging, but it is a constantly changing and evolving world. There are new plugins coming out all the time. And some plugins that I know of that I use that I did not mention here (but will soon in another post) are used for different purposes. These are the basics, the things that I think every network marketing blog, if not at least, should have.

The best advice I can give you on using and finding the best wordpress plugins is to network with other active bloggers. Be constantly on your search. Developers always come up with cool new things that you can use. So keep your eyes OPEN.

That way, you will ALWAYS have the best wordpress plugins on your blog and it will make your audience very happy and excited to promote it in all worlds of the internet. Good luck and good search / installation of wordpress plugins.
