Things to consider before bringing a Miele vacuum cleaner into your home

Known for their quality standard and German engineering, Miele vacuum cleaners offer a large number of possible configurations to their customers. Choosing from such a large number of options is sometimes too overwhelming for the customer. Well! That’s what we’re here for, right?

Basically, Miele manufactures only 5 vacuum cleaners reduced to 2 categories:

Miele canister vacuum cleaner consisting of

1. Class C1 (formerly S2): the most basic of all Miele vacuum cleaners, providing quality on the budget. Easily affordable to many, it lacks a sealed system. HEPA filtration is only available on one model. They lack a sound insulation system, but are much quieter than their counterparts.

2. C2 Compact (former S6): With almost the same configurations as a C3, it has a slightly smaller dust bag. It lacks the HEPA filtration that can be added if desired. Cheaper and lighter, it can be a great alternative to your C3, if you also have that pocket to look at.

3. C3 Complete (S8 above) – A healthy package with HEPA filtration and all the features you won’t find in other containers. Larger in size, these vacuums are also the most expensive.

Miele upright vacuum consisting of

1. Swing H1 – This is a small broom model that is not designed to do the full cleaning task, but can be used as a secondary vacuum cleaner in your home.

2. U1 Dynamic: it is the best boat transformed vertically, which makes it even more difficult to avoid. With the larger dust bags and maximum cleaning reach, prices vary widely depending on which model you choose.

Rest all is just a unique set of features that you can choose by hand to make your own vacuum cleaner, perfect for your home.

The following is a quick list of factors to consider when deciding on your own Miele:

Is HEPA filter required?

Now, if you have any allergies or asthma, we highly recommend the HEPA filter. Miele HEPA filtration is among the best for removing ultrafine particles that can aggravate your respiratory condition. Fully tested and certified, its superior filtration shows a zero reading on the particle counter.

Vacuums with HEPA filters are:

1. Miele classic c1 titan canister vacuum

2. Miele complete c3 glossy HEPA

3. Miele complete c3 alize

4. Miele complete c3 marin

5. Miele complete c3 calima

6. Miele complete c3 kona

7. Miele dynamic u1 jazz

8. Miele Dynamic Autoeco u1

Less efficient AirClean filters are available on the following models, but HEPA filtration is optional on all of them:

1. Miele compact c2 series

2. Miele dynamic u1 rotary vacuum cleaner

3. Miele classic c1 capri

4. Miele classic c1 delphi

5. Miele classic c1 olympus

6. Miele h1 rotary vacuum cleaners

Container or vertical?

Both models are the best versions of themselves. Both contain the same standard of filtration and suction, so choosing one depends solely on the type of vacuum with which you are most comfortable. However, if you do not have a particular preference in this, you can buy a boat, if you have mainly bare floors or high-end carpets and rugs. Opt for the upright position if you have a wall-to-wall cut pile rug.

What type of soil do you have?

The key to selecting your Miele is to match it with the type of flooring you have at home. Depending on your requirements, you can save a great deal of money and time by making the right choice.

If you have a carpet throughout your home, U1 dynamic is the clear choice, as all of their models work perfectly even with the thickest carpet. With a separate motor, automatic height adjustment, and separate brush roller control, the U1s can clean any type of carpet, as well as smooth floors.

If you have all the carpet but prefer a boat, then you would have to go for the Miele electric toothbrush models which are the C3 Series:

1. Miele complete c3 glossy

2. Miele complete c3 for cats and dogs

3. Miele complete c3 marin

4. Miele complete c3 kona

For medium to low pile rugs and carpets, Miele has a few inexpensive and suitable models:

1. Miele classic c1 delphi

2. Miele classic c1 titan

3. Miele compact c2 topaz

If you have mostly smooth floors with low pile carpet, these might be your options:

1. Miele classic c1 olympus

2. Miele c2 compact quartz

3. Miele complete c3 alize

Size of your house

1. The Miele U1 and C3 series are well equipped to handle larger homes. The choice depends on your personal preferences or other factors when taken into account.

2. For standard or smaller size homes, the C2 series with clean air filtration is a perfect choice. In case you are allergic, you can always add HEPA filtration to this model. Lighter, they are easy to handle and maneuver throughout the house and therefore make them the best option for smaller houses. However, if economy is to be considered, the C1 series can offer you the same level of performance with a large vacuum bag.

That’s it with the tips. Hope this helps you make an informed decision. To rest, we are just a call / click away from you.
