5 logical reasons to dress comfortably

There are probably a plethora of reasons to dress in comfortable clothes, but here are five reasons to consider if you want to ditch the uptight lifestyle. It’s hard to let those creative juices flow when you’re worried about how you look. So here you have 5 arguments to let yourself go and dress in comfortable clothes.

The first stage of the creative process is to dress in clothes that make you feel great. Am I saying you can’t be creative in uncomfortable clothes? No, but I’m saying that wearing comfortable clothes gives you a heads up and an advantage that’s hard to beat and who among us can’t use all the advantages we can get…

1. You will get more work done: When you have a big project to do, what do you usually do? If you’re like me you’ll get a cup of whatever you drink, for me it’s white tea, put on some good music and get funkies, you know what I mean by those clothes that fit you so good and comfortable. Feel like a million when you wear them. Let your body be you. Once you’ve cleared all those obstacles, you can start your project wholeheartedly. You are now relaxed and ready to go. Preparing to work (earn) in this way increases your productivity every time.

2. You work better when you’re comfortable: Allowing your body to relax and be comfortable eliminates all distractions so you can accomplish much more, resulting in better quality work. You don’t get distracted by a stiff collar or belt that keeps in what wants to come out. All those distractions gone, you can focus on the task at hand knowing your body is ready to get on with the task.

3. Not looking at the clock: I know that when I feel uncomfortable I can’t wait to get home and get comfortable, so I am constantly looking at the clock, ready to get out of there at the slightest excuse and ready, willing and able to go in in my funkies. A sure sign that you’re not productive is looking at the time (I can’t wait to get out of there and get into something comfy).

4. Your work becomes enjoyable: As long as you are doing work that you enjoy, you will enjoy working when you wear soft and comfortable clothing such as pajama bottoms. Work is no different than relaxing at home if you wear clothes at home that make you feel uncomfortable, you will feel uncomfortable just “relax”, except that being uncomfortable you will not be able to “relax”. When you wear clothes that you like to wear, you look good, your countenance just screams “look at me, I’m worth knowing.”

5. Rescue professionals already wear comfortable clothes for a reason: that reason is that they can’t worry about how they look or feel. They have to be ready to do whatever it takes when asked. When you wear uncomfortable, binding, and mind-altering clothing, you are not allowed that freedom. To give their best they have to be prepared. I know you’ll probably tell me that you can’t wear scrubs to your job, but do you really have to wear tight clothes to work?

There is a trend across the United States where more and more people are choosing to wear sensible clothing like Pajama Jean to work. More and more companies are seeing the benefit of allowing relaxed dress rules for the workplace. When you feel good, you will do your best work and best of all, you will enjoy what you do.

These 5 points are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the benefits of wearing soft, comfortable clothing to work. Exercise your imagination and surely you will come up with many more ideas like these to wear garments with a great touch, comfort and spirit to work. Isn’t it about time you joined the revolution towards great-feeling comfortable clothing that’s sweeping this country?
